Dear parent,
A very frequent complaint is that a child is experiencing difficulty in
school but the school is not finding a need to formally evaluate the child and the problem continues. In these cases, when the school will not complete the evaluation or the parent no longer wants them to do so, I provide an evaluation and diagnosis. From there, the report and recommendations are submitted to the school. And, if necessary, I attend the school meeting with you. Although the school does not have to accept my recommendations, I am a NJ certified school psychologist and prepare a very thorough report that would be difficult to dispute. In all my years in practice, since 1992, the school educators and I have been able to develop a plan in the child's best interests
without court involvement.
I am here to help,
Dr. Denise Novaky
